Werfen is located near the A10 (Tauern Autobahn), 35 km from Salzburg and 190 km from Munich. The nearest international airport is Salzburg’s W. A. Mozart Airport. Werfen’s regional rail station is only a five-minute walk from the Restaurant-Hotel Obauer, and long-distance trains stop in Bischofshofen (a 10-minute drive from Werfen).
